Welcome to Investors Without Borders!
Coming in 2009…IWB will launch a web-based marketplace connecting individuals across the globe with opportunities to invest directly in Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries. Investors gain access to return-oriented, social impact investments by directly funding SME loan requests with as little as $50 per loan. Borrowers gain access to affordable loans that can create greater economic opportunities while connecting with a global business network.

Enterprise creation, innovation and business growth are an important part of employment policies that can address one of the endemic problems of developing countries, which is the lack of demand for formal jobs.
It is an undeniable fact that higher rates of enterprise creation are associated with higher levels of employment.
As an entrepreneur, I always aspire to make a distinction in my community. I am therefore open to opportunities that will fortify mutual benefit to propel communities to grow in either the corporate / entrepreneurial world!

  12. Mark Soper says:

Good luck with this, guys. As I understand it, a big barrier to development is the lack of funding options in the the SME range that effectively promote risk-taking among entrepreneurs. It’s encouraging to see that IWB loans aren’t guaranteed, giving entrepreneurs in developing countries a shot at some of the benefits we enjoy from equity investment systems like venture capital here.

I’m looking forward to investing through your service.
